About Dr Akshay

Dr Akshay Kishor Umare is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with specialised training in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismology. His clinical training has provided him with comprehensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions and performing various ophthalmic surgeries.

With a keen interest in paediatric eye care, he has gained extensive experience in managing paediatric cataracts, squint, myopia, amblyopia, and other childhood eye conditions, while continuing to provide comprehensive eye care for adults. After completing his fellowship, Dr Akshay worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Mahatme Eye Hospital, Nagpur, further strengthening his clinical and surgical experience.

With 8 years of experience and thousands of patients treated, Dr Akshay is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centred eye care for children and adults.
